Chocolate and Amaretti Affogato

Up the indulgence factor of a traditional affogato (vanilla ice cream ‘drowning’ in a shot of strong espresso) by finishing with a sprinkling of our luxurious EXCELLENCE 85% cocoa dark chocolate. A delicious after-dinner dessert.

For a family-friendly version, swap the strong espresso for hot chocolate.

  • 2-4 scoops good quality vanilla ice cream
  • 125 ml freshly brewed strong espresso coffee
  • 40 g amaretti biscuits, crumbled
  • 50 g Lindt EXCELLENCE 85% Cocoa Dark Chocolate, grated into curls

Etape 1.

Set out 2 heat-proof glasses or coffee cups.

Etape 2.

Put 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into each. Pour over half the espresso, sprinkle with the crumbled amaretti and the grated EXCELLENCE 85% Cocoa Dark Chocolate curls.

Etape 3.

Serve straight away.
